  • Executes all activities related to the monthly and annual closing of the financial books (for assigned plant(s) and legal entity)
  • Prepares the annual, operative planning as well as the annual standard cost planning
  • Unterstützung des Plant Controller Mixing im Tagesgeschäft bei den Aufgaben rund um Mischwerk Weinheim
  • Supports the Plant Controller Mixing in daily tasks linked to Mixing site Weinheim
  • Monitors all activities and ensures compliance with Corporate- / Divisional- and IFRS guidelines / standards
  • Executes and supports periodic inventory valuation including all related material movements (physical inventory taking, WIP, depreciation etc.)
  • Prepares and evaluates relevant reports and business trends and provides required explanations to all stakeholders
  • Develops profit and loss metrics to facilitate key performance indicators of the plants
  • Assists management and executives to achieve business objectives (acts as sparring partner to plant management, LC Controller and other stakeholders)
  • Supports the improvement and standardization of Controlling tools
  • Designs, standardizes and maintains the plants’ Cost Allocation Models
  • Actively ensures high movement and master data quality in the ERP system by maintaining and executing all relevant Controlling activities and validations (e.g. Order Accounting, Cost Allocations, Material Master Data etc.)
  • Investment planning and reporting
  • Provides support to relevant ad hoc projects and analyzes
  • Other Controlling activities as considered in a substitution concept within the Division Components Controlling Team
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Business Administration or other training / apprenticeship with additional, further education
  • Min. 3 years relevant work experience in Finance & Controlling in a production environment
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP system SAP (especially modules FI & CO)
  • Experience with SAP BI system preferred
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and material flows
  • Supply Chain Management: Understands relevant KPI’s of logistic / production / quality and how to influence these
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Team Player, highly reliable, customer oriented
  • Up to 20% national travel activity
